Freckles have a lovely family in Box, Bath who need a wonderful Kaya Nanny to join them for 25hrs + p/w. The family need 2-3 mornings per week and then 3 afternoons per week (not Fridays!) + your normal help with housekeeping and cooking supper. Hours could look like 7am - 11am and then 1pm - 6pm - but nothing is set in stone, so we can make sure it works for you! There is the possibility of extra hours available if you need.
The family have 3 energetic and totally gorgeous kids; 16yo (girl), 9yo (boy) and 5yo (girl) and they're all a different schools - yay! The girls are at The Royal High and Kingswood and their brother is at Caulderhouse.
Mornings would be 7/7.15am starts to be out the door with hot chocs in hand for 7.30am. It's then a case of dropping the girls at school in Bath and then scooting back out to Colerne to drop their brother. I would then suggest heading back to the family home, tidying up, getting a wash on and generally feeling a bit more organised but Mum is super flexible as to when you do the 'day time' hours. If you're working an afternoon shift, the first pick up is either 3.30pm or 4pm depending on the day/activity, once home it's snack, supper, homework and starting the bath/bed time routine. There is no time to cook from scratch so you need to have prepared something in advance that you can reheat. Healthy cooking is an absolute must.
The 9yo has about 30 mins of homework to do and it's best to get that done when you first get in. It's mainly focusing on reading, spelling and maths - he's currently working towards getting his pen license! The 5yo might need to do some reading but generally she's keen to play and help out around the kitchen. The 16yo is pretty self-sufficient. She mainly gets the bus home and is back by 5.30pm.
Mum runs her own business and so is super busy and Dad works in London during the week. You need to have your own car and full clean driving license and also be very happy scooting about as the combined school runs can take 45-50 mins.
You need to have a calm and loving personality. Be happy to get stuck in to all aspects of family life and be up for playing all sorts of games!
The days are pretty flexible so we can firm those up depending on your schedule. Ideally Mum would like a morning shift on a Monday though, so she can head straight into the office. Some full days are available in the holiday and we are looking for someone who really wants to make nannying there thing!
This is a really great role where someone can become part of a fun and busy family. If you're not yet registered with Freckles simply send us a copy of your CV and cover letter to email@example.com and we can go from there.
