"There's nothing to be ashamed about, I believe you'll get better mate." - Neil Laybourn
In January 2014 Jonny Benjamin found himself in the middle of an media storm and UK trending # and he is now coming to talk to us.
The video below gives a quick overview of his story and the start of his social media campaign #FindMike to find the stranger that saved his life.
Jonny is a huge campaigner for 'talking about suicide' and he works with a number of charities throughout the UK including Rethink Mental Illness. He has also met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on numerous occasions as they continue to support Place2Be and Heads Together, which are charities focussing on mental health in children.
Jonny will be talking about his story, his journey and what we can do now as parents, Kayas and teachers to support the children we care for. To ensure that they feel safe and loved and that they are stable within themselves.
Channel 4 put together an amazing and very emotional documentary on Jonny's story and the moment he was reunited with Neil Laybourn, the stranger who saved his life. You can watch it here.
