With the May bank holiday and half term looming I thought it would be helpful to share some tips on my favourite child friendly cafes in and around Bath, which are perfect to take the children too and where they can be entertained, leaving you time to gossip, catch up or just get some peace!
1. The Egg Café
It is inside The Theatre Royal, it’s well designed with ample pushchair space and a fantastic play area for young children. They do a wide selection of child friendly and yummy home cooked food, alongside cakes and coffee. Delicious and definitely worth a visit!

2. Hartley Farm
One of my all time favourite places to go! Plenty of free parking, lots of eating space, its wonderfully light and always full of little ones. The perfect place to visit if you’ve been out on a walk or just want to head somewhere in the fresh air and save the effort of going into town.

3. Somerset Lavender
A beautiful Lavender farm set in the gorgeous Somerset countryside. Surrounded by walks, gardens and a lot of Lavender! It’s a great day out with the kids. The café is to die for and serves scrumptious teas and cakes. Definitely worth an adventure one day.

4. The Looking Glass Café – Glastonbury
A little bit of wonderland nestled on to the high street of Glastonbury. It is an amazing find for anyone (bit of a drive if you’re in Bath but definitely worth the trip). They have a fantastic kids playground and are super family friendly, welcoming and there is plenty of large baby changing rooms.
