We hope your children have left for school in some really awesome costumes ready to celebrate World Book Day today. Rather than give you ideas for outfits we asked parent and teacher coach, Dr Maryhan Baker for her top 5 book recommendations, so here goes...
Being a busy, professional mum means you probably have lots to juggle on a day to day basis and often feel as if you a chasing your tail trying to complete everything on your never ending ‘to do’ list! Whether you have your other half to help or rely on family members to give you a helping hand when you need it most, sometimes you just want to slow down a little and catch your breath.
Do you find yourself constantly trying to find a work/life balance and often finding that something has to give? It might be spending less time with the children or the house not being as tidy as you’d like it to be. You may feel as though you can’t dedicate as much time to your career as you’d like to, and might feel stressed that you’re not as organised as you were pre-kids.
Our #HaveItAll campaign starts next week and focuses on achieving a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Some might say that it’s impossible and something has to give, but we’re positive that our campaign will give you food for thought and encourage you to think differently.
Over the next six weeks, look out for posts on Facebook and Twitter about spending more time as a family, why having a Kaya could make your life easier, being more organised in the home, how you can achieve that all important work/like balance, and finally tips and recipe ideas on healthy eating.
We think spending quality time as a family is so important and that’s why we are also going to be running the #EnjoyFamilyTime competition during the campaign to win a National Trust Annual Family Pass. Simply like the competition post on Facebook or retweet it on Twitter to enter, it couldn’t be simpler. Good Luck!
