Lesson 2 | It’s Your Life

It's week 2 of the #MakeYourBedChallenge and this weeks lesson is the philosophy by which I live my life. I truly believe that whilst you cannot control what happens to you, you can always control your reaction. ALWAYS. 🙌

YES, even in the even in the middle of a Global Pandemic which has shut your school down, cancelled your A-Levels, sent you home to live with your parents, you still have a CHOICE and you are in CONTROL of your life

You want me to tell you why? Because even in and amongst ALL of this;
✅ you can choose what you want to FOCUS ON
✅ you can choose your ATTITUDE
✅ you can choose your APPROACH

This weeks challenges:

Challenge 1: Write a Letter to Your Future Self

If your wrote a letter to your future self, the one who has made it through *this*, what would you want to tell them? Maybe that the party on the other side was EPIC, that you learnt a new skill, that the world post global pandemic is BETTER than you world you were in when it started.

Download the template here (or opposite 👉), write your letter, pop it in an envelope and seal it to be opened at the end of the Global Pandemic, but no earlier than the end of the #MakeYourBedChallenge.

Challenge 2: How Do You Feel?

How do you actually feel right now? Are you angry, frustrated, scared, sad? Write it down. I want you to write down your feelings towards this global pandemic, towards your a-levels being cancelled, towards being confined to your home. All of it.

Once we acknowledge our feelings and take ownership of them we feel empowered and we can then figure out how to tackle them.

Download the template here (or opposite 👈) and whatever you do with this challenge - don't censor it. Don't censor your feelings or emotions. Let it all out. Okay?

Challenge 3: Your 8 I AM Statements

Download the template here (or opposite 👉) and work on your 8 I AM statements. I AM statements are so simple and yet SO powerful.

Go. Go. Go.

Once you've got those 8 I AM statements I want you to commit to writing them down every 👏 single 👏 day 👏 . And yes, if you fall off the bandwagon, guess what? Just get back on.
